CuBone Skull
This project was a replication of a CuBone Skull from the Pokemon Cuebone. I used a 3d printer to print 4 sections and with a lot of sanding and clean up I was left with a large single piece.
With this single piece, I primed puttied and wet sanded, This resulted in a single piece with a smooth finish. after that I added details to the inner section of the skull,
Once this was all completed I primed it one last time and started the base coats, this resulted in a shinny bone finish. The final process I did to the skull was to add wearing and ageing to give it an old bone lick with nick scratches and browsing and blackening around sections.
The final piece was to create a way to hang it up, I decided to go for a Sothern ranch-type vibe using a thick rope to hold it up. I used a white bleached rop to reduce the contrast and to bring the focus to the skull itself.
